If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, you must first fill out the CCS Volunteer Registration. This is REQUIRED by Cumberland County Schools
Please do so AFTER JULY 1, 2024. This will ensure your registration for the entire season. If you do so before, you will have to submit it again. The link to this can be found here:

CONCESSIONS: You can sign up for one or both slots for each night. We have lots of fun, but we also get work done! Please read the important requirements ⬇️
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONCESSIONS: No jewelry or watches can be worn and ALL hair must be up under a hat or in a hair net (we provide hair nets if needed). For safety reasons, only volunteers who are signed up on this list will be allowed inside the concessions building (no high school students not volunteering, children or other adults). Join Pit Crew!🚚
Our pit crew is made up of over a dozen Jack Britt High School Marching Buccaneer parents who volunteer to help move instruments & equipment for the Marching Buccaneers’ performances each season – and as our band keeps growing, we are always looking for more volunteers!
The front ensemble’s instruments (such as vibraphones, xylophones, keyboards, sound equipment, some percussion equipment, and more) are too big to be moved by students alone, and need the help of our volunteers. During competitions, both these instruments and show props must be ushered into position on the field within a short time limit with help from Front Ensemble students as the rest of the band takes to the field. In addition, the pit crew transports these instruments/props to the events (which include home/away football games, parades, and competitions). We also help with pre-game and post-game organization with band director Mr. Timothy Parsons, and help to keep our musicians well-hydrated during events. While being a part of the JBHS pit crew and supporting our students, you also get free entry into football games plus help to foster teamwork within our band. Every volunteer is NOT required to be at every game; any and all help you can provide is appreciated!

WE NEED YOU! to be a chaperone!
Chaperones duties are to ride with our students to away games & competitions, as well as keeping an eye on kids especially when going to concessions & restrooms. It’s a great opportunity to see our Marching Bucs throughout the season as our show progresses! Please be sure to have your CCS Volunteer Registration complete, as it’s required to chaperone. Once your registration is processed by CCS, you can log in & it will say along the top if you are cleared.
Per the school’s rules, only adult chaperones are allowed to ride on the buses.
